One Voice will be periododically sponsoring campaigns that involve making the voices of the people connected to adoptuion heard. These campaigns will involve a variety of activities including education, networking, and pertnering with other groups. 

Our first campaign is the "I Vote!" campaign which will begin in November, 2007.  See the page on our website for full details.

We will also be participating in RegDay 2007 for the International Soundex Reunion Registry.  We will work at a table on Novermber 10th to encourage people to sign up for the registry.  We will also let people know all about OneVoice and our activities.  We'll even have some pre-made postcards for people to fill out for "I Vote!"

    One Voice, No Secrets - Annouces the "I Vote!" campaign for open records!

    One Voice, in cooperation with Adoption Crossroads and OriginsUSA is sponsoring the "I Vote!" campaign to raise awareness of the need for open records in adoption.  In order to participate all you need to do is send a postcard to your elected officials identifying yourself and your position on open records.

    The "I Vote!" campaign kicks off during the third full week in November.  We ask everyone to send their postcards on Monday, November 26th, 2007.  Our goal is for all of the postcards in the campaign to arrive in the same few days.

About One Voice

 One Voice is a new organization dedicated to changing the face of adoption in the United States.   With so many organizations doing so much hard work to change adoption, we believe it is necessary to maximize the impact of the work being done by each individual organization. 

 While we do not believe everyone must be a member of every organization, we do believe that by working with us organizations can connect and maximize the work they are doing so well.  We can distill the various messages of adoption work into a clear, united voice.

 In order to help us unite the voices of all the different organizations, we ask that you notify us of events, campaigns, conferences, speaking opportunities and anything else related to adoption so we can connect like-minded people and groups.
