Housing 

HUD - Housing and Urban Development. Use the search feature to locate housing options in your home state. Run by local housing authorities for section 8 and public housing. 

National Shared Housing Resource Center - Has a searchable directory for shared living situations which makes housing more affordable.

New Moms Inc - A (Christian) faith based organization in Chicago, Il which helps homeless and nearly homeless teen moms.

Crossway Community  -  Crossway Community has programs that can provide housing for single mothers over 18 who would like to keep their children. This groups is located in Kensington, MD.

Amandla Crossing - Transitional housing for single mothers (17 and older) on public assistance located in Edison, NJ. There are also other programs that include education and daycare.

CoAbode - A nationwide program that helps single mothers with housing needs.

Transportation 

Public Transportation - Public transportation information for all 50 states.

About One Voice

 One Voice is a new organization dedicated to changing the face of adoption in the United States.   With so many organizations doing so much hard work to change adoption, we believe it is necessary to maximize the impact of the work being done by each individual organization. 

 While we do not believe everyone must be a member of every organization, we do believe that by working with us organizations can connect and maximize the work they are doing so well.  We can distill the various messages of adoption work into a clear, united voice.

 In order to help us unite the voices of all the different organizations, we ask that you notify us of events, campaigns, conferences, speaking opportunities and anything else related to adoption so we can connect like-minded people and groups.
